Julia Fuentes Álvarez de Buergo

Julia ([birthday day=”14.08.1998″]) participated in our workshop in Madrid, Spain, in 2013. She attends Instituto de Educación Secundaria Fortuny in Madrid. In her spare time she enjoys many things, ranging from art to traveling. One of those many hobbies will eventually become her career path.

For me, Europe is…

…real and close to all its citizens. It is a reliable, fair, caring, multicultural community without borders that aims to improve in all areas affecting their citizens, and likewise, the citizens of the world.

If you could, what would be the first thing you would change in Europe?

Politicians should be more involved in the lives of citizens, in order to grow in their minds a sense of connection and proximity that may lead to greater involvement in the problems, challenges and objectives of Europe. Furthermore, I would try to create a more supportive, equal, tolerant and united society.
