Alessia Tavarone

Alessia ([birthday day=”18.05.1991″]) participated in our workshop in Milan, Italy, in 2012. She is now a student of Journalism and Publishing at University of Parma, Italy. After finishing her university education, she would like to become a professional writer, able to make a living from it. She likes art and getting to know new people.

For me, the “My Europe” Initiative is…

…a great opportunity to get to know young people my age, to meet important people and have contact with journalists, politicians and economists, to test myself, compete and work with an international team on a big project, as well as to do something concrete for My Europe, to make a difference, start with small steps to make a big change.”

If you could, what would be the first thing you would change in Europe?

I would do something about youth unemployment. If young people are not free to choose the work they love, their lives will always be a huge sacrifice. No satisfaction, no passion, no peace, no dreams. And a person without dreams is nothing.
