First of all we have to look at the current status of the EU. It looks like a parted union after the crisis. The unemployment rate between the young people is very high. An increase of the racism cannot be stopped. The economical rates are increasing very slowly because of the not to consume policy. The depts of some countries are very high. Increase of the average of the population. Use of one currency Euro.

The countries in the Northern part of Europe are more dynamic and their economies are better than the members in the southern part. Because of this the countries in the North don’t want to be a part of the countries like Greece, Spain, Italy etc. They are afraid that another economical collapse will occur like it had happened in Greece.

One of the main problems of the Union Leaders is the forecast for the year 2050 according to the number of the people which are able to produce. A decrease of about 45-50 million people is calculated. The number of the citizens who are over the age of 65 will double. Therefore the amount of the pension, health care expenses, social insurance etc. will increase rapidly. This means that Europe will not be able to solve this problem by themselves. To overcome this they must let join new countries with young and dynamic citizens to the EU. Until now the members of the EU has been chosen with political thoughts. But this choice affected the economy of the EU in bad way.

In a place where there is no consumption the production is also very low, which results with an indispensable stagnation of the economy. Young population will trigger the consumption and therefore the production like clothing, electronic equipments, food and beverage, cars etc. will increase. This will result with an improvement of the economy.

Another point is that the competition advantage of the European products decreased in the past 12 years, because most of the countries which where once only suppliers are now producing and selling them by themselves. The profits of the European Industry decreased because they are not more able to get easier and cheaper raw materials.

Another problem is the use of one currency: EURO. In a country the money is normally controlled and managed by the Central Bank and the Government. But nowadays the EU has not a powerful Central EU Bank. An additional minus is that there are some members which are not using the EURO. Which means all EU countries cannot be controlled in one economical policy.

The rise of the racism In the EU countries is another big problem which has to be solved very quickly. If this cannot be get under control a war between the citizens are not be inevitable.

The EU has been founded to be a big economical union against the USA. But they forgot that some nations has been enemies in the past and some of them are not willing to get under control of another country or power. This leaded to cracks in the administration of the EU economy policy. All these problems are weakening the EU but the biggest problem is the average age of the population which cannot be solved directly by giving privileges to a country. The EU must get new members with young population and they have to effort enormous energy to integrate, not assimilate, the citizens which are living in the EU countries for decades. Otherwise there will not be EU in the near future.
