Professor Pohl is not only the founder and CEO of the Frankfurter Zukunftsrat but also the initiator of “My Europe”. He is a well-respected business historian with more than 40 publications to his name. In the past he managed the cultural activities of Deutsche Bank. In 2001 he was awarded with the prestigious European Culture Award by the European Culture Foundation “Pro Europe”.
Countess Pilati is a specialist attorney for family law and notary in the firm of the same name. The division of Germany has shaped her when her father had to flee with the family in 1953 from the GDR. She believes that Europe’s youth is against borders and fences. Peace in Europe, particularly through Europe's youth, is very important to her.
Philipp Turowski has 25 years of experience. Since joining EY in 1991, Philipp has served in a wide range of leadership roles in GSA and the CIS, including CIS Assurance & Advisory Leader, CIS COO and MSL for the Central Region in Germany. Philipp has experience with financial statement audits, due diligence and general practice management. His industry expertise is focused on Telecoms, Advertising and Software. In January 2016, Philipp became the COO for Assurance GSA. He is also currently serving as Deputy Assurance Leader for GSA. Philipp Turowski believes that the only meaningful natural resource Europe has is its people´s knowledge – and the only way to build knowledge is education – ideally together and across all borders.
